WHAT We Do

We empower and inspire the next generation to get active, physically and mentally healthy, and to foster a love for reading.

HOW We Do This

Our dynamic Tennis and Reading program geared specifically to 3-8 year olds, is implemented in underprivileged and underserved preschools and early elementary schools. We measure the effectiveness of our program at the individual child level. Measuring skill progressions in tennis based on the drills and games in our curriculum, social/emotional development, and reading effort (or what we refer to as, LOVE for reading).

WHY It's Important

We are breaking down the barriers associated with the "country club" sport of Tennis. Traditionally, tennis has been a sport that is primarily accessible to those with economic means. One of the main impacts we have is providing an introduction to the sport of tennis to children that might not have ever had the opportunity to try it. Furthermore, our program takes kids on a path to become proficient in the sport, and compete. The second major impact we are causing is in the realm of reading. Not just measuring reading comprehension, but boosting the LOVE and excitment for reading--all through Buddy's Adventures Books.
